House update

Currently we are still living with my parents. The construction on the outside of the house is completed but we have some more inside work that needs to be done. It has been resided with all new windows, a new front door and new facer boards. It is yellow with white trim and black shutters. We are going to paint the front door red...a little splash of color...=). We know some one who works for a company that makes kitchen counter tops and they are going to replace ours for free!! Praise God! They need to be replaced. All the rooms have hard wood and need to be refinished but that will not happen until later. So, yeah...lots of work to do still. We want to be moved in soon so we will see how it goes.

Congrats to my dear friends Katie and Haper! Katie just had a little baby girl ( Rebekah Jane) today! I know she is beautiful! Love you guys!

Funny Lorna

This past Tuesday Clint, the girls and I went to the lake to feed some ducks here in town. we were trying to get a few minutes of family time before Clint had to leave for work. Anyway, while we were all tossing bits of old crusty( some moldy..poor ducks) bread, Lorna began to yell out in a very serious and demanding tone...," I know you are feeling sad and frustrated! I know you want to stay green, BUT you HAVE to change colors!". She was talking to the trees. I almost fell! She was looking at the trees across the lake and waving her hands about as if she was trying to reason with them. She cracks me up. This girl is drama! Which can be scary but she is also a good listener which gives me peace about the drama. Also, this morning she came running out of the bathroom with her jammies around her ankles, wearing her pull-up, and said..," Mommy, how do I look?". She then starting a goofy dance which cracked me up. Oh, I love my girl/girls.

Back from NC

Well, we just got back a few days ago with our stuff from NC. Clint is back at work and things are still pretty crazy. I will be painting some rooms in our house (yay!) We have our stuff in storage and so I am going to try to do some more work on the house before we actually move in. Just to let y'all know, we probably will not have Internet for a few months. I will be blogging from my parents house whenever I can. Moving is expensive so we need to save a few pennies/dollars right now. So it may not be as often as I would like, but I will try to blog as much as possible when I move into the house. Also, my parents do not have long distance on their phone and Clint has our only cell phone with him on the road all the time so I am not able to call any friends who are long distance. Maybe we will have things together here soon. Well, God bless!
